'European Property Consultant' is a team of experts dedicated to finding the ideal property for people serious about buying property in Europe.

We know that buying property abroad can be a difficult, time consuming and often expensive process. At European Property Consultant we know because we've all done it. So if you have made the decision to purchase a property in Europe and have a clear understanding of your property requirements, that is where we can help.

We also realise that you may not have time to make numerous inspection trip visits or take time out of valuable family holidays to see a limited number of properties on offer from one Estate Agent. So we can work on your behalf to arrange an inspection trip that maximises the number of potentially suitable properties for you to view.

If you have made the decision to buy property in Europe and would like to use the 'European Property Consultant' service, the first step in the process is to tell us about yourself and the property that you would like us to find on your behalf.

To do this please fill in our property wish list questionairre. Please tell us as many relevant or important details as possible to help us find the most suitable property for you.

What next

When we receive your completed property wish list we will actively search for properties that match your criteria and compile a portfolio of potentially suitable property. We will send this portfolio to you via email for you to review. This process will continue until you have identified a shortlist of suitable properties that you would be interested in receiving further detailed information about or would like to arrange a viewing trip to see your selected properties.

If you decide to view a shortlist of properties we will then arrange a schedule for your visit at your convenience and set at a pace to suit you. We will acompany you at all viewings and advise on all matters relating to your requirements with regard to each individual property, such as local infrastructure, leisure facilities, schooling, shopping etc.

Our evaluation of each property will be honest and we will point out the positives and negatives of each property to help you make a balanced judgement.

We will never pressurise you into making the decision to purchase a property.

The Purchase Process

When are you are satisfied that we have found your ideal property and wish to proceed and purchase the property we will submit an offer to the owner and negotiate the best possible price for you. It is normal in most European countries to pay a deposit at this stage to secure the property.

The property laws in European countries are varied and can often be complicated, so it is important to have good legal representation. We will introduce you to an independent English speaking lawyer who will represent you throughout the purchase process and will advise and act on all necessary legal documentation, local authority enquiries and procedure.
